Charles & Jane arrived yesterday, so
we went on a trail with them today. Bonny
& Ronny, and Cathy & Larry also
came along. They wanted to take Stony
Pass to Pole Creek again. There's still
not a lot of trails open yet. We and
Larry & Cathy went as high as Stony Pass and turned around to head back to
town. Once headed down, the guys decided
we needed to go to Buffalo Boy (a side trail, less traveled). We were not able to get all the way to the
top, but Jingles did get in a second snow run.

Charles flew his drone. It was pretty
cool & windy today.
We didn't pack a lunch today, thinking
we were coming back to town, but we always have enough snacks in the
"snack bag" to get us thru. When we decided to stop, this was our "lunch room" for today:
Here's the old Buffalo Boy tramhouse. There was talk as recently as 2013 of
re-opening mining operations in this area, but there was no sign today of any
of this happening except for fairly new power lines running up the
mountain.
