NOTE: Jingles' Snow pictures at the end.
This was one muddy dog when we got back to the RV. Should have taken a picture of her in the shower. That water looked like coffee.
We drove out of town on the Animas "Highway" to the Picayune Trail. I apologize for the dirty windshield shots. I didn't realize how dirty it was until I downloaded the pictures.
Believe it or not, this trail has been improved;
used to be more narrow& lots more rocky:
Minor tree hazard; we were able to get around it:
Looking across to Little Niagara:
CHARLES!! No comment necessary here:
Random wildflowers:
This is where we stopped to let Jingles & Abby play in the snow:
This was much worse than it looked.
Snow caused us to slide; a washout and pretty good drop-off on the right:
Charles coming thru; trust me - steeper drop-off than it looks:
The Treasure Mining Co Boarding House from the rear:
Headed home:
THE PROMISED JINGLES' SNOW PICTURES:
Run like a lunatic:
With Abby:
Time to cool the belly:
Make that the whole body:
And if that doesn't work, start digging:
Keep digging until the hole is just right:
Then just collapse in the hole:
